As a result, combat in the game is about strategically scripting a series of Gambits rather than micro-mangaging the individual behavior of each party member. The story of Final Fantasy XII places emphasis on political intrigue - a common theme in the other games set in Ivalice - that places the player's characters in the center of a much wider conflict of saving Dalmasca from the corrupt and power-hungry leaders of the Archadian army. The immense amount of content can easily add up to over 100 hours of gameplay with a diverse set of side-quests and challenges for the player to complete. This installment offers a deep storyline with beautifully rendered cutscenes that can completely immerse the player into the world of Ivalice. The limits have been pushed on Sony’s console to deliver a true and genuine experience with a lot of new features that are firsts for the series.
